Fan-filmed video footage of British thrashers EVILE performing a cover version of the PANTERA classic "Cemetery Gates" live for the second time ever on April 28 at Trees in Dallas, Texas can be viewed below.

EVILE decided to do something special for its great fans in Texas by paying tribute to two men who have had an immense impact upon their lives — "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott and the band's late bassist, Mike Alexander — by playing "Cemetery Gates" for the first time on April 26 at Emo's in Austin and again two days later in Dallas.

EVILE guitarist Ol Drake explained the roots of this idea in a short statement: "We were recently sat in the van looking at the dates on this OVERKILL run and we mentioned how cool the Texas dates will be. Then it hit me that Dimebag was born in Dallas and we recently covered 'Cemetery Gates' and received some good feedback on it. So we thought why not play it live in Dallas? I [thought] it'd be a great tribute to Dime and PANTERA, and we love playing the song."

EVILE recorded "Cemetery Gates" in 2009 for a special Metal Hammer "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott (PANTERA, DAMAGEPLAN) tribute album. Tragically, it was also the last song the band recorded with its late bassist, Mike Alexander.

"Cemetery Gates" is available now exclusively on iTunes, and also features a special version of EVILE's track "Time No More", with Japanese vocals/lyrics.
