"Death Magic Doom", the new album from CANDLEMASS, sold around 800 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The CD debuted at No. 79 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.
"Death Magic Doom" entered the German Media Control chart at position No. 52. The group's previous CD, "King of the Grey Islands", debuted at No. 83 back in June 2007.
LUNA MORTIS (formerly known as THE OTTOMAN EMPIRE) recently shot a video for the song "Forever More" with acclaimed director David Brodsky (THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, BLEEDING THROUGH).

LUNA MORTIS' debut album, "The Absence", was released in North America on February 10 via Century Media Records. The CD was tracked at Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, Florida with producer Jason Suecof (ALL THAT REMAINS, TRIVIUM).
