The band will kick off the tour in their hometown before heading to Pomona, California for two mini-festivals. One of the shows will feature the special reunion performance of classic Christian band FOCUSED. The gigs will also feature THROWDOWN (in Pomona) and BLEEDING THROUGH (in Alaska), as well as LIVING SACRIFICE and more to be announced. These will be DEMON HUNTER's only shows of 2009.

The details are as follows:

Aug. 15 - Pomona, CA - Glasshouse
Sep. 11 - Anchorage, AK - [to be announced]

DEMON HUNTER's latest album for Solid State Records, "Storm The Gates Of Hell", came out in November 2007. The CD was produced by Aaron Sprinkle (EMERY, THE ALMOST). Mixing duties were handled by Machine (LAMB OF GOD, WHITE ZOMBIE, ARMOR FOR SLEEP).

DEMON HUNTER's first album was released in 2002 and remains a classic to the group's loyal "Hunters". "Summer Of Darkness" arrived in 2004, bringing with it fan beloved songs like "Not Ready To Die" and "My Heartstrings Come Undone". "The Triptych" followed just a year later and has sold over 100,000 copies in the United States, featuring the MTV2 "Headbanger's Ball" staples "Undying" and "One Thousand Apologies".
