According to Kerrang! magazine, LAMB OF GOD guitarist Mark Morton will not perform with the band at the U.K. edition of the Sonisphere festival as his wife is expecting a baby.

UNEARTH six-stringer Buz McGrath will fill in for Morton on August 2.

Sonisphere festival will be held on August 1-2 at the legendary Knebworth Park, United Kingdom.

LAMB OF GOD will be the main support act on the fall leg of METALLICA's North American tour, starting on September 14 in Nashville and running through the end of November. According to LAMB OF GOD drummer Chris Adler, "We will be doing a considerable amount of headline shows throughout this tour as well." He added, "This will be our final U.S. tour of 2009."
